Come out in support Saturday, August 7!
Forest Hill, MD - Kobbie's Kustoms, Jones Junction, The RAACE Foundation and Chesapeake Harley Davidson are throwing one heck of a party on Sunday, August 8th in the form of the 5th Annual RALLY for RAACE Motorcycle Ride, Kobbfest and Family Fun Day. It all gets started on Saturday, August 7th under the big top as the Casino Days starts all of the festivities with The RAACE Foundation's giant "Time to Talk" Gaming Wheel and Kobbie's 24 Pin Stripping Party.

According to Founder Kenneth Smith: "Since we had to build the wheel ahead of the event on Thursday and the giant circus tent was getting built on Wednesday, Kobbie, Linda Nobile, Brad Brickel and myself discussed the opportunity to put the wheel to use on Saturday August 7th." Linda Nobile, event coordinator at Chesapeake Harley-Davidson said: "Saturday is always our biggest day, so why not help raise a few extra dollars for RAACE with spinning the giant gaming wheel and maybe pull in a few more last minute riders to The RAACE Ride. It's gonna be a great weekend, so why not!" Then Kobbie of Kobbie's Kustoms said that he would do a 24 hour pin stripping party and that he would pin stripe anything and give the proceeds back to The RAACE Foundation, because it is all about the kids!" Smith continued: "This is certainly going to be a great weekend to expose the hidden epidemic of child sexual abuse. I can't thank Chesapeake H-D, Jones Junction, and Kobbie for helping in the fight against abuse. Everyone can make a difference in the life of a child and family."

The giant wheel as it became known is 22 feet tall and over 18 feet wide with a spinning gaming wheel of 14 feet inside. Based on Las Vegas Style Pick Six and a Wildwood, NJ Boardwalk wheel style honky-tonk game of chance, kids of all ages can try their luck. Some joked that it looked like "The Stargate", others said it was over the top and even a few said it would never spin, but everyone agrees that when the wheel spins, everyone wins. That was then. Now, various display fixtures and an 18 foot gaming table makes up the rest of the "Time to Talk" display. One thing is for sure it definitely creates a family atmosphere and a great time. Players young and old can spin the wheel for cash or prizes with all of the proceeds going to The RAACE Foundations Race Against Abuse of Children Everywhere.

Then at 4 pm, Kobbie's 24 hour pin stripping Party starts. If you have ever wanted you helmet, car, bathtub, mailbox, bike, birdhouse or whatever pin stripped - just bring it over to Chesapeake Harley-Davidson on Saturday night and Kobbie will have at it until the paint dries!
